I understand that, but full creative control is less valuable when you’re shackled to a contract that dictates an expansion/dlc model that doesn’t allow you to creatively pursue your vision. It is Bungie’s fault for signing it though.
It’s like if a good underground band signs a big publishing deal, may have creative control over their music, but have to release an album every year and make 10 million dollars and have 2 radio hits. You’re no longer writing for the art, but for the commercial viability of the art as a product. The vision gets lost. Sounds to me like they’re taking that back, is all I was saying.
