I still have my MTG cards from 1994, Ice age, Beta, Revised, 4th edition, lots of them. Having them removed from me, without my choice would be considered theft. Bungie can choose to remove content, it’s their game to develop and make rules as they see fit, I get that concept 100%. It’s just my very humble opinion, that anybody who values a dollar wouldn’t knowingly purchase something that is so quickly removed. A good example might be going to see a movie for $25, as it’s gone immediately. I completely understand that concept of thought. But me? I don’t rent movies, I don’t go to see them, I wait until they are available to purchase and then I own access to it forever. Or, until that access is removed, and in the rare case it is removed from my digital library, I immediately receive a refund in the exact amount of what I paid for it.
We’re all different though. I’m just pointing out my view on things. Feel free to donate your hard earned monies to for profit companies all you would like, it’s just not my “cup of tea”, as Devrim would say.
