No one is excited for Dattokeep!!!?
Ironically, we, the players as a whole, are partly to blame for giving streamers so much power, through views, likes, and subs. These professional no lifers have been influencing the direction of the game since D1 and yet, many years later, a good chunk of the playerbase still give them views, likes and subs in the millions! Until we stop watching certain streamers, this cycle will continue.
There are very good streamers that don't try to influence the game like Aztecross, Ninja Pups, and the lore streamers like Byf, Myelin, etc. It's really a matter of understanding that your attention is their currency, and so you should only give it to those who deserves it.
PS: Please drop a like and subscribe while you're at it!

Honestly, I think Bungie uses the streamers as an excuse for whenever they’re trying to get something out there that they know we would not like. The streamers are just a scapegoat for them, even datto was struggling to eat up the bullshit that Luke smith was spitting, as if there were a wayTo spin removing paid content as somehow a positive, like reskinned raid armour is somehow a selling point. it is pathetic.

I Personally only ever pree houndish occasionally
-
I’ve never understood the whole streaming phenomenon myself. There is no way in hell I’m going to subscribe and pay to watch anyone play a damn video game, when I can easily buy the game and play myself.
-
Exactly! I think this steaming thing is a new generation phenomenon. It's mind-boggling that streamers make an actual living from people watching them play a game that the audience can play themselves. Smh.
-
I know, it really is mind boggling. Honestly, all it does is show how much this younger generation is a bunch of mindless sheep. None of these so called professionals offer any insights into a game I can’t figure out for myself, but now people just want to be spoon fed everything, including their opinions and beliefs.

Am I the only person that really doesn't care about any of the changes and has learned a long time ago to roll with the punches? If it's fun, play it. If it turns out to not be fun, don't. It's very simple tbh. I just started back a few weeks ago since vanilla and have been having a blast playing this, not gonna lie. And I don't even own forsaken yet.

Edited by TheShadow-cali: 9/18/2019 10:48:22 PMIf everyone just rolled with the changes every time Bungie made changes, some of the changes that did improve things from people just not rolling with everything like the weapon loadout change? That wouldn't have ever taken place. So rolling with everything is in no way a good thing.

Not gonna argue that, what I am speaking on is the game changing as a whole more or less. Not pinpointing things specifically. Balancing should always be done. But I understand that you can't always do that overnight and sometimes it takes a long time to hone things into a good place. I feel alot of things ppl complain about things that fall into the "easier said then done" category.

Edited by Sinisis: 9/18/2019 5:26:37 PMI think you'd have to have been there the whole time to understand the ups and downs we went through. The constant nerfing of weapons, failed promises, using scummy tactics like adding battle passes to a paid game, nerfing supers, forcing metas, not fixing pvp, forcing pvp quest steps, not updating any vendors except Eververse, among other things have left a bad taste in our mouths. Stick around long enough and I think you'll see where we're coming from.

Just willfully ignoring the Community... in mass. The lies. Lack of content and not a care or concern. The Community managers had years to grab this bull by the horns and turn it around. But when they weren't selling something... there was no bungie-hype. No updates. No pvp changes. No Community Challenges. Bungie, your Mother was a hamster and your Father smelt of Elderberries.

This place is just a sweltering hellhole of incessant complainers and toxicity....if the Internet was a city, Bungie forums would be the sewer system. You can game history most people who incessantly complain and they play every day. I think there’s a personality type that just enjoys complaining, the way I enjoy drinking coffee. Constantly.

It's actually hilarious the amount of drama you can get over a video game. This place is just more whining. Jsp is where you just let your inner most vile personality out at ppl. Good times. Btw, now I want coffee.
