Just saw a user on my PC friends list with an emblem I didn't recognize.
Did a Google search and found out it was one of the Veteran emblems awarded to players who completed tasks in D1 and brought their character into D2 on the same platform.
-Laurel Triumphant: You completed a Moment of Triumph during Destiny’s first year.
-Laurea Prima II: You completed all 10 Moments of Triumph during Destiny’s first year.
-Slayer of Oryx: You owned The Taken King and completed a Moment of Triumph during Destiny’s second year.
-Heard the Call: You owned The Taken King and completed all 8 Moments of Triumph during Destiny’s second year.
-Young Wolf: You owned Rise of Iron and reached Rank 2 in the Age of Triumph record book.
-Saladin’s Pride: You owned Rise of Iron and reached Rank 7 in the Age of Triumph record book.
-Lore Scholar: Your achieved a Grimoire score of over 5,000 in Destiny 1.

What gives? I should have gotten those emblems, but was shafted by Bungie because they refused to let you pull your character (or any form of data) from console to PC at launch (thanks, Sony!).
But now I'm seeing that people have them on PC, I'm guessing, due to cross save? How come linking accounts on Bungie.net wasn't enough to unlock those rewards?
I guess I'm just bitter that I put in 2k hours to D1 and got nothing to show for it in D2 "because capital 'R' reasons."

If players are using their console accounts that qualified as veterans to play on PC via cross save, they will still have the emblems. No PC account is veteran since you did not play Destiny 1.
