Hi again everyone, welcome back to Pie or Cake! For this week, what is better? The Halo franchise or the CoD franchise? As always, keep it civil.
From here on you can leave your recommendations in the replies and I will possibly feature it next week. Credit will be given where credit is due below.
Halo.

I have a few recommendations. Mincraft or Teraria. Appels or oranges. Texas-style BBQ or Kansas BBQ. Meatal or EDM. (They seem to be the two favorite music types in this subforum) Would you rather go to Alaska or Hawaii. Better corn state, Nebraska or Hwaii. Better accent, Russian or Brittish. Zelda or Mario. Halo or Destiny. thats just a few.

Easily CoD
Mostly because I have never played Halo
-
I like CoD but Halo is better
-
Halo. One of the only things I miss about switching back to PlayStation is the lack of Halo and Gears. Haven’t touched one since ODST and 3 respectively.
-
Condom or no condom? Wait we were talking about halo... Halo.
and condom... Always... Condom
-
CoD for one reason...I play on PS and can’t get the Halo games...although I’ve played them at my friends house a couple times and it was pretty cool.
@-@
-
Halo all the way. It’s an awesome franchise and the games are amazing
baited
-
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA ...you serious? Halo. All the way. I haven’t even played it and I know it’s better than whatever Activision can come up with.
-
I’ve never owned a Halo game. My only experiences with the series have been screwing around in my friends’ custom game modes whenever I went to their houses. It was fun, but I think I prefer CoD, specifically the older ones. Black Ops 2 will always be my favorite shooter

Indiana Jones vs Han Solo Star Wars: Clone Wars (2003) vs Star Wars: the Clone Wars (2008) Prequel vs OG memes (we’re not gonna speak of sequels) Republic Commando vs OG Battlefront II New BFII vs Old BFII (As you can see, the theme is Star Wars)
Watch this wrist rockets Take out that super Just like the simulations They’ve taken a command post Sector is clear. Not Clear! Not Clear! Ima play some BFII when I get home.
Let's see. One is recycled garbage and getting worse every single year and release while the other is a pinnacle for FPS's and is easily the better of the two? I'mma go with Halo
-
Easily Halo. Well, bungie’s halo games, that is.
-
Even though I’ve never played HALO cause them some cool cutscenes I have played multiplayer at a friends house a long time ago. Gotta say, loved the mantis.

Fallout vs Skyrim Mal Reynolds vs Han Solo Narnia vs LotR
-
Both went to sh*t.
-
I’m not sure if this is a good one but shoes or flip flops(sandals)
-
Halo is besto
also band or choir is my suggestion
-
It’s hard for me to say this, because my greatest gaming accomplishment to date has been beating CoD: WaW on the NINTENDO WII WITH THE FREAKING ZAPPER. But Halo is a better franchise overall

Ugh, I'm split for I have as much time invested in one as I do the other. Well I guess it really is no contest. Halo - by light years. Why? It had a continuing story that pulled you into it even though you were basically just a piece of military hardware from your beginning. Master Chief became way more than that to most people who ever played the games. It was engaging, exciting, entertaining, insightful, hilarious, and could imbue you with deep sadness. Then there was the multiplayer aspect that changed FPS online forever. CoD, the games originally were intriguing, but after MW2 the campaigns went off the rails for me. Once I got into the multiplayer, that is where the game excelled for me. Spec Ops were awesome to do solo or co-op too. But having a clan that had absolute map control for the 5-6 years I played them was unlike any other online game experience I have ever had. We were really good in Halo 3 BTB. We were near impeccable in CoD. That's why I'm split. Halo's stories and campaign replay ability never get old to me. The clan MM part was stuff of legend, and our Friday Night custom games were some of the best entertainment anyone could ever hope for. CoD, our clan dominance was just epic. Heck, even solo I could run the boards in the games I played. Sadly, I can not say the same about either past a certain point. Both have become something different than what they were, and I just abstain from all multiplayer, for it too much OP everything, all the time. I haven't played a CoD since Ghosts, and haven't played Halo MM since just a handful of games in 4. They're just too broken (monotonous, OP everything, chaotic) compared to what they were.

Halo all the way.
