Can't finish the tutorial due to Weasel and Baboon error codes
Edit: Apparently my Windows wasn't updated. Updated it and it works now, so far no error codes whatsoever.
New to Destiny 2 (not Destiny in general, played D1 upto Taken King) and I have been trying to finish the tutorial but as soon as I get to the part where I get to use my super, I get kicked out because of Weasel error code and brought back to title screen, or sometimes the Baboon error code and then get respawn at a place where I can't progress anymore.
To elaborate on the Weasel one, when I arrive at the part where I get to fight the yellow-health boss, the enemies shoot for a few seconds. Then they would stop in place. If I kill them, they would redo exactly what they did the moment the spawned. After a few seconds again, I get kicked out to the title screen greeted with the Weasel error code
Tried it for 2/3 characters, the hunter and titan, but still no luck. (I also have 6-7 copies of the auto rifle and shotgun that you pick up because I've tried it mutiple times now lol)
After getting kicked out, if I alt+tab to Steam (I'm on pc) Steam would lose connection to the internet, then it will not respond, then both Destiny and Steam would crash. (It sounds like I exaggerated a little but that is EXACTLY what happens and it has occurred too many times that I've actually memorized it now xD)
Another one, on rare occasions, I get the Baboon error code instead of Weasel ( also at the super-part of the tutorial ). I get a black screen with the error popping at the bottom, then I respawn back where you first enter the wall, the hallway before ghost lights the place up. I can't progress as well because the gate that opens after he lights the place up is closed.
So far I have tried leaving my clan (currently don't have any clans),
Some extra info:
- I play on Steam
- I'm using wired connection.
- Besides Destiny, I'm not running any background apps that eats up too much memory or internet.
- I have tried port forwarding on windows firewall, don't know if that did anything.
- I've tried this
- I've also excluded the entire Destiny folder, in Steam, on my antivirus software (specifically avast and malwarebytes)
- I've, obviously, tried restarting my pc, power cycle it and also my router
Really don't want to resort to redownloading the entire game because I my internet has a monthly data. Hopefully it gets fixed soon :)
