Hello everyone. I am looking for any help in trying to figure out what’s going on with my game. Recently (I think it started with the move to steam or a patch or two after that) my game has started to randomly freeze and BSOD my computer with error CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED I would blame this to faulty drivers or even hardware, but the issue only happens with Destiny 2. My girlfriend plays Overwatch on my computer without any issues at all and I did not have this issue when Destiny 2 was in Battle.net I have also run benchmarks to see if the crash happens, but I have not been able to reproduce the crash with 3DMark, Uniengine or Prime95. I've tried looking for information about the BSOD error but most of the troubleshooting leads me to: - Checking event viewer: I did but is not showing any errors or information which might tell me what is causing the crash. - Checking the dump/minidump: I would BUT one of the errors in the event viewer is that the dump could not be created… - chkdsk, sfc /scannow, DISM: All were fine - Updating drivers: everything is up to date - Updating BIOS: did that, not fixed. - Removing any overclock: set everything to their default values. Issue continues. - Checking hardware: Tried playing with one stick of ram, then 2, then 4 again. The game still randomly crashes. - Windows fresh install: Went ahead and did that, I completely formatted all drives BUT my storage drive since that only contains media and whatnot. I even installed destiny on a different SSD drive. Currently I have not installed anything but the required drivers, Steam and Battlenet but the issue persists.
