Imagine If. . . (Trace Rifle Idea)

Imagine If. . . Coldheart had Triple Tap (or Fourth Times The Charm)- This would allow Coldheart to fire off a whopping 149 shots with perfect aim (198 with Fourth Times), and 48 (97) of those shots come from thin air. With perfect aim over a period of 149 shots. Not easy and not overpowered, but definitely powerful. This would beautiful fit the theme of the weapon, and I wish it were part of its catalyst (probably Triple over Fourth for sake of weapon balance). Prometheus Lense had Rampage- Just imagine the minion clearing potential. It already reloads on kill, but a damage buff as well? Honestly disappointed and surprised Rampage wasn’t part of the catalyst. Rampage and Prometheus just makes sense. Wavesplitter had Genesis Rounds- This might seem a weird one, but Wavesplitter is a weird gun, even for trace rifles. Where Prometheus is clearly minion clearing and Coldheart dps, Wavesplitter doesn’t have as much of a specific place outside of Crucible, which it performs just fine in without help. However, in PvE Prometheus focuses on red bars and low tier yellows, and Coldheart is high tier yellows and bosses, Wavesplitter could fit in the place that takes care of all tiers of yellow bars and is decent for reds and bosses and the perks complement this, with a kind of ramp up similar to Coldheart, but not as good, and an auto reload similar to Prometheus, but not as good, it would fit well in this space between red bars and bosses. And what do many majors and ultras have? Elemental shields. Therefore, Genesis Rounds. Also, genesis rounds is an underused perk that actually is quite decent, and this would give it some exposure. Divinity had Rapid Hit- Since the goal of Divinity is to provide a debuff that teammates can take advantage of, and since this debuff is a massive crit spot, this perk just makes sense. As you’re laying into a boss and creating a large crit spot for your allies, your stability jumps up and you can perform a lightning fast reload after emptying the mag to maintain the debuff. Like Prometheus and Rampage, it just makes sense. Trace Rifles are really fun, but it would be nice if they all felt really powerful in their own way, not just something of them being great and the rest only barely decent.
