Fight for Matchmaking Preferences. END SBMM vs CBMM. Choose what YOU WANT.
I offer you the middle ground rooted in Bungie's past that so many of you are so inclined to forget about, presented by one of those guys you love soooooo much. ([i]actually watch it[/i])

Best Playlists option: 1. CBMM-only Quickplay mix (Valor) 2. SBMM/True Skill Competitive (Glory) 3. Private Matches 4. CBMM-only Rotator Mode (Valor) 5. SBMM/True Skill Labs (Valor) 6. CBMM-only Rumble (Valor) HOWEVER, there should be one other option: BOOTCAMP. This would be a mode that, for the first 50 hours/25 matches of playtime on a new account, only matches you with other sub-50 hour/25 match players. It would be placed right where Quickplay is, as one of the three big options (alongside Comp and Rumble), and after completing a match that rolls you over 50 hours/25 matches, it disappears and unlocks Quickplay, giving a clear path to learn the game, not get stomped, and eventually join the full playerbase

I just do things. The players has plans. Bungie's got plans. Y'know they're schemers. Schemers trying to control their little worlds. I try to show the schemers how pathetic their attempts to control things really are. So when I say that you and this game was nothing personal, you know I'm telling the truth. It's the schemers that put you where you are. You were a schemer, you had plans, and, uh, look where that got you. I just did what I do best. I took your little plan, and I turned it on itself. Look what I did to this city with a few drums of nerfs and a couple of buffs, hmm? You know what I noticed? Nobody panics when things go according to plan. Even when the plan is horrifying. If before I told the press that, like, OEM grants overshield, or the Recluse is the best SMG, nobody panics. Because it's all part of the plan. But when I say that one little nerf will come to one of them, well then everybody loses their minds! Introduce a little complaint. Upset the established sandbox and everything becomes meta. I'm an agent of meta. Oh, and you know the thing about meta? It’s fair.

1 ReplyHow about this: Make all 6v6 CBMM and all 3v3 SBMM. Its about the math. When you have only ONE CBMM mode you concentrate everyone in that one mode. Make more modes and you dilute the populations. Comp has to be SBMM or nobody would play....not that there is a good reason of play it now but that is a different topic.......

6 RepliesConnections doesn't work when you get matched against players on the other side of the world. Skill doesn't work because "skill" is not clearly defined as to how it should be used for match making. Regional/dedicated servers are the way to go. Enough said. Bungie doesn't have servers at all and the entire game is peir to peir. An before you say no it's not. Then ask yourself when do you ever play this game alone at any given point in time where no one is in the same session as you are.
