No wishful fanboyism. Only facts based on the facts.
Edit: Ok I forgot about the Q Continuum when I made this post. Star Wars has been defeated. Sorry not sorry.

These fights bore me because they typically degenerate into "My dad can beat up your dad" bickering, but based on past squabbles I've encountered on countless other forums and what I know of both, taking the canon of each universe makes Trek the winner. The Borg (assimilation, adaptation to energy weapons, collective mind), nanites (consume or control technology), metagenic weapons (completely destroy a planet's DNA base in days, the Genesis Device (a combination of both metagenic weapons and nanites, but faster and delivered remotely as a warhead), fluidic space (extra-dimensional travel), Species 8472 (native inhabitants of fluidic space that scare even the Borg), time travel (the Borg time travel seemingly with no problems with other isolated examples available as well and Starfleet has a Department of Temporal Investigations - it seems time travel is somewhat common). Communication, medical and sensory technology from Star Trek has always been superior to that of Star Wars. Those two wandering droids in the original movie being hunted by so many stormtroopers, they'd have been scanned for, locked on to and been beamed directly onboard a ship in Star Trek. ...and then there's the Q. It's not really fair for the SW universe though. There's been far more on screen content for Trek with so many series and movies that Star Wars can't really keep up.
