People like strikes, invest in strikes as content.
• Add atleast one new strike with each season, and maybe one or two d1 strikes. Add a title to strike activities. (Vanguard scout, Pathfinder, Agent Of Light, etc.
• Strike specific loot. Do it, ornaments for vanguard weapons and armor would be cool. (Strike playlist/streak increases odds.)
• Take the existing world gear, make it version 2.0, and just retexture/pattern with ornaments to match the strike on said planet. (Example take the reverie dawn set and add taken blotches here and there for the corrupted strike variant.)
• Add a nightfall tiered strike playlist with matchmaking.
• Add weather effects/hazards/random oh shiz encounters to normally safe routes.
• (Nightfall change) Instead of modifiers for the nightfall how about this. Zero hud, pitch black with only your ghost as a flashlight. Maybe throw some thunder or lightning in on the open air areas for atmosphere. Go full dead space with this bish, make it creepy.
Make it a truly unique strike experience that relies on player judgement and skill, because lets face it, we all just throw on the optimal elemental build for that week and melt the bosses. That's cool for the high tier strike playlists, but make the NIGHTFALL live up to it's name. Your light will not survive.
