Hi there, Thanks for reaching out. Forges are now on a daily rotation and can only be launched from the map view. In order to gain access to the forges you will need to complete the Black Armory introductory quest to forge the machine gun beta frame. If you have yet to be given this quest try progressing through the introductory New Light quests until you are prompted to speak to Ada-1.
