Hey y'all, New Light Player here, So I bought the season pass and thought it would be cool to grind for my first title with Season of Dawn (Savior) and couldn't help but notice that the Crucible weapon is locked behind a ton of Linear Fusion rifle kills? Now I'm fine that it's a linear Fusion rifle (I guess), but the problem I have is that all my LFR's are heavy ammo, and with some dumb luck I can maybe get a kill per Crucible match, which would mean I would have to play a ludicrous amount of Crucible to grind for that quest step. A lot of seasoned players are using the Arbolest exotic that came out last year because it's a kinetic weapon which at least means you'll have way more chances to kill enemies and legitimately grind for those kills and precision kills instead of waiting and probably dying next to heavy ammo. Honestly, I'd love to see Xur come in with the Arbolest this weekend or something and that would solve the problem for me and a lot of other players. Though another solution could be to make some LFR's run off of special instead of heavy, then it's still difficult with less munitions than a kinetic, but at least it's guaranteed at the start of the match that you'll have a chance to kill someone during that run of life. And maybe it's meant to be stupid hard for New Light People (inb4 git gud) but I'd love to somehow feel like I at least have a fair chance at the saviour title amidst the 80% of people online who are using Arbolest. Regardless, the grind is going to get stupid boring either way with just the lack of LFR guns and such (why not release a bunch of new ones to try out to companion well with the quest?) TL;DR - Linear Fusion Rifle kills in crucible (for the Savior title) are extremely difficult to get, and more so because of the limitations of heavy ammo. Also New Light Players are at a supreme disadvantage because of the lack of LFR's available.
