My story about my banned account

English: Hey dear Destiny Community and maybe also the bungie team! Unfortunately I was banned in March this year and I don't know why. I put a lot of time and money into Destiny 2 and 1 (I would still do it), and I got the message one day that I was banned. I never really played PVP where I could have cheated, but I also noticed that Bungie was banned because of AmbientLight software. Since I was always the PVE player anyway, I guess that could be the case with the light software. Now after a few months, I wanted to see if I was still banned, unfortunately nothing has changed. Unfortunately, this could not be fixed with the transfer to Steam, now in retrospect I regret a bit to have linked my banned account with Steam, because I missed the chance to start again with my Steam account, unfortunately very annoying , I would actually buy Destiny new, which very few would do after an illegal ban, as long as I only keep my progress. I have so many nice and funny memories of this account and it would be a shame to just throw it away. Since you can in no way approach the support, I just try my luck here, since I have already seen cases in which the support actually answers. Maybe it is naive to think that the support answers, but maybe it is something like a little Christmas miracle ^^ I wish you happy holidays and a happy new year!

Since I was always the PVE player anyway, I guess that could be the case with the light software.
2 things, one PVP is not a requirement for cheating or getting banned. Use of an aimbot in PVE, Patrol, Private Matches, will get just as banned as using one in PVP. Ambient light software has never been listed as a cause of a ban, only used as excuse by banned players. Typically, pc bans are due to software detected by Destiny 2 while running. These include but not limited to, trainers, aimbots, auto-fire, mods, graphics hacks, anything that injects code into games, debuggers for programing, even some viruses. any of these could cause a ban, even if not destiny 2 specific. There has also been an increase in bans due to Network Manipulation. These are usually caused by you or a member of your pre-made fireteam doing something... less than honorable behind the scenes of your matches. If it was not you, then it was a member of your team and Bungie has no real way to determine how much or little you knew about the player who was doing it, but it should have been obvious is that something fishy was going on. One of the biggest indicators of network manipulation and the largest red flag to bail out of your team is when your enemy loses 1 or more players in numerous matches. This is the alarm to save your account and bail out of the team Since Bans are manually reviewed before being placed, the actual cause of the ban could have been any play session over the past few weeks. Account restrictions and bans are only done in extreme cases; if actions were taken against your account, then it was with reason. There are NO options to dispute or overturn account restrictions or bans. Bans are lifetime for that account bans and restrictions policy page *I am not a Bungie representative, just a player trying to give the answers that are available.
