Nice! No wonder I see no men in battle!
Any sources/evidence?

Don't let the trolls stop you from posting.

I don’t think so I think but don’t know if the crows are males while the soldiers are the females
-
Im not sure why this would even matter?
-
You’re confusing the Awoken with The Squad.
-
It's because there are so few men that the women don't want them endangering themselves. There is also the fact that in awoken society one man can have multiple wives as mention when Mara met Savin.

Capt Waffles explained it perfectly. This has been explained in-depth in lore (especially in the Marasenna lore book). There were/are very few Awoken males, because most of the passengers of the Exodus Green were female, so the Awoken developed a matriarchal society and protected the men. Men are a minority and protected by the females because of it, but they are still treated equally and have equal opportunity. Uldren and Hallam Fen are excellent examples of the rare men rising in rank.

Edited by Capt Waffles92: 1/10/2020 2:41:34 AMIt is matriarchal, as when the first Awoken were “reborn” (awakened, if you will), the overwhelming majority were women. Thus, they organized their society as a matriarchy to protect the men they had, and it stuck. Men do still operate in military capacities, though they are a minority. Take Paladin Hallam Fen, promotes from Commander after proving himself at Pallas. He has operated as a ranking officer for quite some time, evidently. Just because it’s matriarchal doesn’t mean it’s not equal opportunity! 😉

The only good society is an extinct one. Like the Clorfors. Dirty, money-grubbing Clorfors. Tried to Clorf me right out of my money.

From the sewage called #offtopic they send up their prized troll.

Don't know but the queen is pretty hot. One time she took me into her chambers and tried to have her way with me but I pulled a Rance maneuver on her.

Wth....enough with the women posts. -Dredgen Qēox
jk this is actually an interesting topic. Technically no, Mara Sov is simply queen right now and everyone under her is pretty much balanced.
Every society is ran by women. 😉
-
I think the term that you referring to is matriarchal ..... but to your question yes
-
Depends on what your talking about... The one that stayed in the pocket reality we don't know anything about them and as for the others... You have to be alive to have a society.
-
Kinda. They’re a matriarchy, but the men do their part as well. Only a few positions are reserved for women.

Love the Hairstyle
-
Nah, the queen is pretty dominant. I like that.
-
In one of the awoken lore books, I think marasenna they say the awoken are a female dominated race, with something like only 30% being male
-
[Its a matriarchal, wakanda-level-progressive, society that doesn’t give a shit what gender you are as long as you contribute to the races survival, be it by becoming a Corsair, pilot, mechanic/technician, etc. The only three positions of leadership/power that I without a reasonable doubt believe are female exclusive are Queen, Queen’s Wrath, and Techeuns, and the second one could be considered a demotion by the conditions of which the current queen’s wrath got her role.]
-
Because Men with blue skin are weird.

It’s a matriarchy.
