Going for Savior, Need Comp Advice (UPDATE!)

UPDATE: Got to Heroic last night! Thanks everyone for your help, this was awesome!! (For the curious, I rolled bottom tree Striker with OEM, Dust Rock, Trust, and 21% Delirium. Lost once, then won three straight.) ------- I noticed that I'm only a few triumphs away from earning my first title. Super exciting! Unfortunately, this means I have to get the Komodo, and that means I have to play comp up to Heroic. I'm okay in PVP, but I really don't play it unless I have to, and I went 1-8 yesterday digging into comp for the first time. So. I'm in over my head. What advice do y'all have- loadout, strategies, builds, mindset, etc. -for a solo Titan trying to earn enough glory for the Komodo?

    1. Play Freelance. That way you don’t have to play against teams on headsets. 2. Play the meta. Unless you are a murder-machine with some off meta weapon, comp is not the place to experiment. 3. STICK WITH YOUR TEAM!!! Comp is a team game. The goal is to win, not pad individual stats. Nothing make me angrier than players that run off like headless chickens, or wander off when you set up for a fight and you’re expecting them to have your back...and then you get shot in it. Even good players are guilty of this. Thinking they’re slaying out, and all they are doing is leaving their teammates vulnerable to getting picked off. 4. Your abilities are precious. You can waste them in 6s, no big deal. But a well timed super can literally be a game changer or snap the neck of a team on the ropes. Three times yesterday I wiped entire teams with Stormtrance. As you play more you’ll get a better sense of when to use your super to make a play. 5. KNOW THE MAPS. Absent-mindedly wandering into a long sight line can get you sniper, and stumbling at round a blind corner can get you shot gunned. You not only cost your team a cheap death, you leave your team mates vulnerable until you can Respawn and regroup. 6. Manage your streaks. If you get a win streak going... ride it. If you get on a major losing streak you’re probably in an unfavorable (for you) player pool...get out. Go do something else and come back. Don’t squander your progress. 7. In OT, if you have a life advantage, get to the capture zone and force them to come to you. A good player will lead you in a pointless goosechase until you stumble into an ambush. Just don’t run up and stand in it. Be smart.
