*****an [spoiler]lemme think[/spoiler] A huge island known as Anvil. It’s something of a plateau that sharply rises half a mile above the sea. The only access to huge city above is from the ports is mechanical elevator systems. The ocean below and around the island city is known only as the Myst. As expected, it’s filled with an endless fog and is nearly impossible to navigate save for pre-ratified paths. Within the ocean swells demonic, twisted-humanoid creatures called Echos. Echo swarms can be heard by the reverberating screeches they emanate, and can easily destroy towns and ships. However, Echos are dissuaded by any light save for the bioluminescent globes across their bodies, which they close off when in the presence of other light. To stave off Echos, Anvil is fitted with seven massive sphere-beacons positioned halfway up the cliffs, which activate at night and can be seen by each of Anvil’s seven colony islands. Because the beacons only activate at night, ships can only navigate at this time, which is also when the Echos come out. [spoiler]This probably has a lot of holes but I spent like under five minutes on it[/spoiler]
