Lost Path 6: Bombs Away

I jump through a portal to the stairwell and go up. I check my bullets, six left. I bust down the door, revolver in hand and shoot three of his gang in the head. I level the revolver at Stonewell’s head and say, “It’s over.” “Actually on the contrary—,” a fourth of his gang jumps on my back and holds my arms on the ground. I am struggling to get up and Stonewell begins to gloat. “I knew you wouldn’t be able to take down ALL of the best criminals in that prison. I only wish I was sent to a more dangerous one, maybe I could have stopped you sooner. Well, at least now I get t—.” I shoot two bullets at a piece of metal machinery and the one of the bullets ricochets into the head of the guy on my back. “Seriously?" Stonewell groans. The mob boss pulls out a sword and swings down on me, I barely block by throwing my revolver in the way and levitating it there. I roll out of the way and grab my sword as my revolver flies to my hand and I holster it. I swing Durendal at his head and he ducks down followed by a slice at my legs. I jump over his blade and sing down for his arm but miss. “Boss it’s ready!” Someone ran in from a door behind me and was talking to Stonewell. “Then get out of here,” the mob boss responds. The man starts to run, but I send Durendal into his shoulder and the wall pinning him down. Stonewell uses this opportunity to swing his sword at me. I lift up my arm as my shield grows on my arm to block his swing. Rebel’s chains appear on my arm and I grab Stonewell’s arm with them. I swing Stonewell into a wall and his sword is flung out of his hand. Stonewell coughs up blood and gives a smirk as he says “Good job, too bad that doesn’t matter.” He pulls out a detonator and presses a button on it. “You were so eager to get to your grave” Scintillate comes through the door as I hear an explosion far off. I grab him with my rebel’s chains and throw him through a window just as the floor he stood on is blown up. Durendal flys to my hand and I run for the window as another explosion goes of and the middle of the floor collapses. I jump at the window and another explosion throws me into the window, breaking it and sending me through. I land on the roof of the next building. I put my arms beneath me and groan as I push myself up I see a person in dark red armor standing in front of me; before I can react he throws a flash grenade blinding me and sending a spark of pain throughout my eyeballs. “Who are you?" I call out to him as I blindly crawl to my feet. I try to stand at full height but my left leg has a sharp pain and I limp back down. I hear a strange, deep, robotic voice respond to my question. "Justice for the dead." The leg becomes too much to bear and I fall to my knees then my elbows. The figure grabs me by the throat. I gasp for air only to be met by nothing. I hear his boots hitting the ground as he holds me in the air. I try to loosen his grip, but I am too weak to do anything. I feel a sharp stabbing pain through the stomach as I hear my blood slosh on the blade. The blade is pulled out easing the pain some, but I feel the blood rushing out of my stomach. The figure let’s go of my neck and I fall off of the building and my back hits a sharp rock on the ground as my vision changes from white to black.
