There needs to be a better matchmaking for things like raids

every time i see people asking for matchmaking in raids, im reminded everyday that players still don't know how to throw a ball in The Corrupted for breaking the shields on the boss fight. No thanks.

Lmao you can’t be this simple minded. I’ve probably done more raid carries and trials carries than you can count. I’m always down to help the newer people out, but matchmaking with 6 random people that almost all the time NEVER use mics of follow instructions is never gonna work. It never will. Like it or not, majority of this playerbase is casual and don’t typically know how to do most activities unless someone explains it to them. Which most cases, is usually me.

I understand....but im telling you. 6 matchmade randoms never works out. Not on this game. I'm sure YOU are a competent player that knows what he's doing and can hold his own, but all it takes is 1 bad player to ruin a run that should take 10 minutes and ends up taking 4 hours instead. All it's gonna do is have people yelling on the forums complaining about how bad matchmaking is.

We [i]DID[/i] it was called [b]GUIDED GAMES[/b] which everyone seems to have forgotten surprisingly. I used to run those with my previous clan to help players out. Not only were the queue times (for players searching for goups) insanely high, usually over 45 minutes to an hour, but almost all of them never had mics and every time they made a mistake they wouldn't admit to it instead of learning what they did wrong and trying to rectify that problem so it wouldn't happen again. That was with only 1-2 raid carries. Now imagine that with a full 6. Utter chaos

It seems like it would be a huge griefing issue to have match making. Purple don't even regularly run the right element on strikes, but they think a nf with match game won't be a problem.
