“Kirk take the wheel, I’m going after Karov, wish me luck.” Maelstrom said as he jumped out the door.
Karov was falling back towards The Eviscerator, his whole entire suit of armor, from head to toe, was covered in Hive Soulfire. Maelstrom decided to go faster, he began to use a technique that he called “Wind-walking” to run on thin air and catch up to Karov. The two were right next to each other, and then Akûn decided to fire at them, the two of them dodged the shots that were flying towards them. Karov then decided to use the full force of his static charge that he had built up until this point. He released it in a fury of Arc energy which sent him streaking towards a sector of cannons onboard the ship. He tore through them like lightning and left a crater where he had landed. Maelstrom followed suit, using a Nova Warp to teleport onboard. Karov glanced at Maelstrom, he clearly was mad at being followed.

“Why did you even follow me here Maelstrom? You thought I was going to die? Well now Kirk and the rest of them will die because you left them there, alone. I only managed to get in here because there was a flaw in that particular section of the ship.” Karov said.
They continued through the ship until they reached the armory, or at least what they thought was the armory. Maelstrom unlocked the door and they went inside. In the armory they found Hive weaponry that wasn’t in any Vanguard records even those in the Red Vault. Maelstrom picked up a sort of laser cutter and a staff for good measure. Karov decided to pick up a sort of curved razor and a machine gun of sorts for good luck. When they walked out of the armory the alarm had went off.
“Did you even bother to disable the alarm?” Karov asked
“I thought you did? Why does this ship even have alarms in the first place?” Maelstrom replied.
[I have to find Akûn, I must keep my vows that I had made so long ago.] Karov told himself.
Karov then ran off without telling Maelstrom a thing about what he was doing.
“Where are you going? Karov?” Maelstrom yelled
Then a squadron of Hive Knights appeared, Maelstrom was surrounded, they then confiscated his weapons that he had stolen.
“Aw, [REDACTED], Here We Go Again.” He told himself.

Karov ran through the halls until he reached a sort of Throne Room. He walked up towards the Throne only to become blind when he touched it. He then saw a horrible vision of the past, of all the people that Akûn had killed, including his own fireteam, Alak and Nevis, one a Titan and the other a Warlock, both were murderer by Akûn’s own hands. When his vision had cleared and he had returned back someone was waiting for him.
“We finally meet again, Karov, you thought that I had forgotten about you? No, I only let you live so as to feel the joy of killing you off at a later date. Oh, you think you’ll survive this time? Oh, I don’t think so, as for your friend, Maelstrom, he’ll die knowing that you weren’t strong enough to even defeat me, The True Final Shape.” Akûn said, mockingly.
“You clearly don’t know what I’m capable of you... you Nihilistic, Sadistic, Twisted Fiend.” Karov said, terrified.
“Poor choice of last words for someone who claims to be a Godslayer, now what would Nevis and Alak think about you? Hmm, I wonder what?” Akûn said, circling around Karov, trying to find a flaw in his character, a breaking point.
“They would have been proud of me, making it this far, they would want vengeance, and I think I just so have the tool required to do so.” Karov said, grasping the curved blade in his right hand.
“Where did you get that? No matter, I’ll end you just as I did your friends.” Akûn said, Karov could sense a slight hint of fear in his voice.

Karov lunged towards Akûn, he used his Void Shield to block Akûn’s claw swipes. He then swiped at his left wrist, the blade pierced through Akûn’s thick armor and sliced his hand clean off. Karov then looked back at Akûn, expecting to see him with only one hand left. Akûn’s left hand had regenerated, it was now jet black with blood red Runes flowing along it’s sides. When that happened Akûn’s whole entire body changed, he was different, changed, he was stronger. Akûn knocked the blade out of Karov’s hand, he picked it up and it reverted back to it’s true form, a set of claws upon both arms with Hive Soulfire extending out from the points of the claws. Karov was dazed on the floor, Akûn walked towards him, he was going to finish him off. Akûn took one last look at Karov before lunging at him. When Akûn was right on top of Karov something happened. A barrier of Void Light shone over him.
“How? That’s not possible, your dead, I made sure of it!” Akûn screeched.
“Let’s just say that I pulled the old bait and swap tactic on you, old friend.” The Titan said.
“Nevis? Is that you?” Karov said, trying to get up.
“Yes, and according to my calculations Alak should arrive right about, now.” Nevis replied.
Just then a Warlock appeared out of an Ascendant Portal, brandishing a familiar Scout Rifle.
“Hello Akûn, surprised to see both of us again?” Alak asked
Nevis then turned towards Karov, his right hand above his forehead in salute of his friend.
“Karov, go, we’ll hold him off, don’t worry about us.” Nevis said.
Karov made a dash for the exit whilst Nevis and Alak dueled Akûn.
“You know that I’ve murdered billions of Hive right?” Alak said
“What does that even matter compared to this?” Akûn asked
“It means that you are [REDACTED]” Alak replied
Alak then pulled out his Necrochasm and began to fire several million rounds into Akûn’s armor, meanwhile Nevis pounded away at Akûn’s tough armor with his Burning Maul.
“After this we have to find Maelstrom, he’ll be a valuable asset in the war to come.” Alak told Nevis.
The three of them were at a standstill, then Akûn made a critical move.
“ËÑØÛGH!!” He screeched
Akûn walked towards the two of them, yet Nevis and Alak had prepared for every possible outcome of every possible situation. They made a dash for the Throne, when they touched it they had escaped to somewhere. Akûn had a horrible suspicion about where they went, and he didn’t like the outcome.
