As the smoldering engine of the shuttle caught fire behind the crew loaded a cargo sled frantically, they could hear the buzzing search of Alliance Sky patrollers getting closer. Bakta observed his new crew, so far a few had shown promise, and with the newcomer- a former Browncaot- in prison clothes that had landed not far from their crash site- Bakta still saw some use in them. He thought back to the decisions that had led to his incarceration, He though about his old officers aboard the Tiananmen, he knew at some point he would have to ditch the lot of them. But not until he had secured his last score... The Casino ship he had boosted on Persephone was being held in this shipyard under impound; and if Unity was to be trusted, the guards here would be unaware of the prison break; at least he hoped the deal extended that far...
They made their way to the fence and cut it easily with fusion blades they stole from Shen. They avoided detection for a time until a guard spotted them, spotlights lit up and illuminated the bewildered group who dove for cover like cockroaches
It was a trap.
Using their stolen weapons they fought their way to the ship getting themselves and the and their loot with only a few minor injuries, and bullet wounds, scrambling for their positions aboard the massive ship, the Browncoat newcomer held the gantry, keeping the Alliance troopers back, on the Bridge Camm prepped the ship for launch with precision and speed in no time, they saw the Alliance troops getting smaller and smaller as they peppered the ship with Flechette rounds. Bakta breathed a sigh of relief as Camm plotted a Hard burn that would take them out of Alliance patrol space, he had made it... Unity had some explaining to do... And now came the easy part... before the plunge...
