[spoiler]Characters (Dialogue) M: Maelstrom Z: Zeta P: Paradox ¿¿¿¿: [REDACTED] LJM: Larsnic James Mcreed [/spoiler] ———————————————————————————————————— Z: “Are you sure that he’s back?” M: “Yes, I’m sure of it.” Z: “Paradox has a message for you!” M: “Play it won’t you!” P: “Ma-lst-r-m, t-r- b—k —ght -ow!” The audio sounded wrong, as if someone was messing with it. Nonetheless, Maelstrom and Zeta landed on the Moon, near the Scarlet Keep, their destination was The Enduring Abyss. They went down into the Keep until they found the place where they were looking for, the Pyramid. M: “That’s where we have to go, I’m sure of it.” Z: “Ok, yet doesn’t this sound a bit too suspicious.” Maelstrom did not respond, and the two of them continued onwards towards the Pyramid until they were pulled inside by the Tractor Beam. Once inside Zeta scanned the area for any signs of life, he found only one. Z: “Someone else is here” Once again, Maelstrom did not respond, he just continued walking. Zeta quickly followed after him, the two then wandered the corridors for some time until they found something, or someone. ———————————————————————————————————— ¿¿¿¿: “Well it’s not like I’ve been waiting for you to come here, to Luna, old friend.” M: “Who are you?” ¿¿¿¿: “Don’t you remember me? Your friend?” M: “I don’t, but do you remember him?” Just then a blinding light shone in the room, the figure wailed in pain, and Maelstrom fell to the floor. He heard the voice of his old friend, Mcreed. LM: “Don’t let them control you, don’t let them do anything to you, use the card Maelstrom.... use the card.....” Maelstrom just barely managed to stand, he pulled out the card in his pocket. The image of a jester was printed on its front. He hobbled over towards the figure, who had just gotten up, and stared at him. Ûmbrä: “We will not fail, we cannot fail, we shall not fail. ———————————————————————————————————— Maelstrom drew the card, Ûmbrä stared at it for half a second, contemplated its meaning, and then faded, not before giving out one last cry for vengeance. Ûmbrä: “You shall drown in the Deep.” When Ûmbrä had faded away the was someone lying there on the floor. He looked like he had just ran a mile without stopping to catch his breath.
