Fix the game chronology and stop removing seasonal content after the season ends
what more could i possibly say? any veteran account coming from d1 gets ressurected a second time in destiny 2, the main stories are all out of wack, the narrative elements from previous seasons are gone leaving many new players lost, etc.
Solution? add back the season of dawn and season of undying content for one, those are some seriously important story elements, and for other things such as the buildup of the pyramids, like back in forsaken with Mara's throne world, have those story elements be character based like you did for the farm a long time ago, where certain people would only exist for certain players. make it so you can still experience things in the correct order. I'm noticing a LARGE amount of new players and people coming over from destiny 1 getting extremely confused because we keep giving content to the existing player base while the previous story elements from older content is becoming all out of wack with plot holes because the content has been removed. as a d1 year 1 veteran it pains me to see that new players don't have the same enthusiasm over the games story due to these issues. at some point bungie you need to add all the removed stories back so the new players can experience the story properly. (yes i'm aware this post is a bit of a mess in terms of organization)
