This post will feature heavy spoilers regarding this weeks bunker introduction; this is your final warning, I recommend viewing what it has to offer before going further into this post. Final warning. [spoiler]So, this week reveals two heavy lore implications; The first, Rasputin is now seen as an equal by Zavala. Some might argue that this isn't a big thing, but seeing as Zavala basically commands the City and Guardians, and for the longest time has seen Rasputin as nothing more than a weapon, and he has now changed his mind based on the fact that he now has a further understanding on how Rasputin works; deeming him worthy as an equal. Obviously a further question must be asked, does Rasputin see us the same way? but that's for another day. Secondly, and arguably more importantly from a lore standpoint; The Pyramids, are close, and they're surrounding us. coming in from multiple angles. The dialogue played from the Collapse, of officials recording the amount of people they have, not just on the Archology but also on a colony ship they mentioned, gives us further insight into the destructive path of the Pyramids back 800yrs ago (time = rough estimate). Point is; they are so much more closer than any of us thought. And whilst the possibility of it being from pre-collapse is possible; I think this is now (if you look at the maps in each bunker there are 2 triangles that glow red).
