Good Afternoon,
I purchased a new, unopened copy of Destiny The Collection on 11/3/19 for the DLC. I purchased the base game some time previously (~2017). Being laid-off due to Coronavirus, I gathered a group of players to play this weekend and opened the package today to download applicable software. After entering the code into Playstation Store I was notified the code has expired, AS OF SEPTEMBER 20, 2018. I find myself incredibly frustrated I was allowed to buy a new game, at a premium for DLC content, when said content within had expired BEFORE purchase. Further insulting was the activation code for The Iron Gjallarhorn working fine when it supposedly expired September 20, 2017.
I ask what can be done to correct this wrong?

the only thing you can do is return it to the store where you bought it as defective and rebuy via the console market place.
