the one thing that has been troubling me is the fact that caydes story is technically not over, as the hidden message mentions the possibility that DSC is on one of the sister moons of europa.... so a way to end the story, and to shut up the ideas of cayde 7... mission: 7 the guardian finds a mysterious facility near the sibling moons of europa, the moon in question does not appear on most maps, Enceladus, a, a frozen hellscape.... the facility is buried, but the guardian using solar energy, manages to melt a way into the building. inside is a large warehouse, with pods and wires, leading towards a large room... the guardian discovers the crypt, and messages the vanguard, they arrive to help investigation, ikora begins thinking about cayde and the possibility of bringing him back... zavala says no, and ikora yells at him.... a few weeks pass, and a new quest called 7 is added to players inventorys, you go talk to the vanguard, but both zavala and ikora are missing.... you head to the building and head to the mystery room to find ikora with a shotgun trained at zavala, and the body of cayde is on the table... the 2 guardians bicker, ikora kills zavala, and activates the machine... caydes body sezures to life, but its not cayde, its a thrashing monster, zavala is rezed and sees the monstrosity... it leaps up and the lights go out.... you are then placed into a new mode, stealth, where you must escape the building without being attacked by cayde, the mode would feel like a horror game, no music, no lights other than your ghost, and the sounds of a distorted exo begging you to kill him.... you reach the exit to find ikora crying, and zavala mad, they talk, but before zavala gets to heated, the monster bursts from the snow and impales zavalas chest with his hand, and with the other, crushes zavalas ghost, ikora shoots and kills cayde, and you must go back to the tower, ikora apologies for what happens, with he death of zavala, being her fault, she steps down and that would leave the slots for a new cast for vanguard characters... an seprate idea, but related, is for zavala to become a phantom, and haunt ikora.... [spoiler]tell me if its too cringy, this is a way for people to stop going on about cayde, hes dead, and bungie doing this would show bringing back dead charicters is a bad idea......[/spoiler]
