I loved the first game ( my favourite in the series ).
I did not care for the second. Too many fetch quests. Size does not make a game good. Quality makes a game good, and I feel the second game spreads itself too thin.
The third game is pretty good. It gets a bad rap because people were expecting more from a current gen game, and was largely reviewed in a unpatched state, Fury is also unlikeable for most of the game. But it feels a lot like the first game, which I like. The trick to liking it is to compare it to the first two games ( both built for the last gen consoles ), instead of something current gen.
I’ve only played the first level of Genesis, so I haven’t gotten far enough in it to form an opinion on it, but it feels like a Darksiders game, despite the obvious changes.
