Hello you scurvy sea dogs, scallywags, and Kraken food! So we did the yar-har and I’m here to give you a recap since that seems to be custom around here.
So to start things off we assembled close to the time, but unfortunately between Xbox not giving notifications, mic issues, and game updates we lost 2. However, False, Geoduck, Zbruh, Blaze, Veggie, the eventually silent Crowley, and I stood ready to conquer the seven seas (and the 8th sea of friendship!!!)
We began by trying to get into the same server but on different boats. After joining we’d raise the reapers mark so we could see each other, but found no success (veggie did manage to join his brother though). Tired and out of time Zbruh left to get food leaving us with 6 soon to be pirate lords!
We divided our crew into 2 brigs. Crews were determined using a random number generator (me asking my mom to pick numbers without giving context), and we were finally ready for yar har!
Blaze, Crowley and I raised the merchant flag and set sail. Unfortunately I got hungry and by the time I came back, Crowley was gone, but Blaze was still manning the ship like the legendary captain he is! We had all the supplies we needed and a row boat, but we were missing a third member of our crew. We set sail for a ghost fleet anyways and I proceeded to make a fatal error. I reached out to one of my irl best friends and he joined.
The ghost fleet was no match for us (we sank two of the ships using only our water buckets), so the final wave Rared us and spammed cursed balls, finally sinking our ship. My friend, Stricken, grabbed all of the loot in our row boat while blaze and I got the new ship, supplies, and re-raised our merchant man flag. Against all odds, Stricken secured victory for us from his row boat, sinking the two remaining galleons. We found him, got our loot, and immediately got attacked by another galleon which we quickly obliterated.
Having significantly more loot than Veggie’s crew and feeling extremely confident, we moved on to a skull fort. We took it down with ease and maxed out our merchant emissary. We grabbed the powder kegs because of the merchant cash n rep bonus and we only had one island to travel before reaching the outpost.
We arrived undisturbed and immediately began selling kegs when Stricken lit his keg as a joke before selling it, but did not anticipate having to collect our emissary voyage, locking him in dialogue. Laughing and not trying to move or extinguish his keg, he exploded. This set off blaze’s keg and my stronghold keg, followed by another keg on our boat. Since our boat was anchored by the dock, it sank immediately. We re*shudders*spawned, but got rared again. We were at golden sands, but our new ship spawned several islands away at ancient spire outpost.
Having no loot, no emissary rep, and definitely having drowned in the sea of friendship, Blaze and I shared some very choice words with Stricken before vowing to not play Yar-har with him as for a very long time. Stricken responded with laughter and claiming we would not follow through. We then got on the D word with Veggie. Zbruh rejoined the party and so did the legendary lurker Sans to hang out in party chat before calling it a night.
Veggie’s recap hopefully coming soon. Hoping to do at least monthly or bi-weekly yar-har nights here. Anyways may your tankard never be empty and may the wind always be in your sails!
TLDR: Stricken blew up our boat n lost us over 100k worth of loot n an emissary voyage. Ask Veggie for how False, Geoduck, and him faired.

Man I wish that game was on PS4. At least I’ve still got World of Warships though AND it’s got a 40k themed event coming!
Sorry, all out of salt.
