Why not add an in-game public text based chat feature to D2 on Consoles? Similar to what they have in Warframe or WoW! Why you might ask? Because it could allow for players to find fire teams, ask for advice, or just mingle when they otherwise might not, and if it existed in the game it could eliminate the need to use external sources to find fire teams for pinnacle activities. I strongly feel D2 could benefit from an in-game text based public chat feature with match making and a custom friends list independent of the platforms. Even add a player's stats or achievements to an in game profile. All of these things could make forming a fire team easier than needing to stop focusing on the game and turn to a forum, Facebook, or Reddit. I feel it could also aid in immersion.
