In my opinion I don’t mind grinding for power but it’s been the same grind for two years now, it’s gotten quite stale

Exactly. I don't want to do the same things over and over for 2 years. RNG never likes me because i keep getting useless gear (bad roll sidearms is what i keep getting from powerful drops) and so that hinders my grind in order to endgame content. So while all my clan mates and friends are doing endgame content i am still grinding my ass off for gear that i don't have the resources for (this is exactly what happened to me and why i stopped playing between weeks after last wish dropped and opulance)
