Once this goes away, I will not be grinding this Umbral Engram bullshit... Even this AFK farming is taking FOREVER...
Others got to 1060 somehow a lot faster, I have no idea how but they will get to feel empowered and the rest of us have to grind? No, I won't do it.
CHEESE FOREVER!!!
Oh and can I say, this AFK farming is upping those play time hours. This could be one of the reasons they haven't patched it so quickly. Hummmm?

Drops from Crucible are based on what you have in inventory on your character, because light level doesn't matter, so you just have to keep the highest level drops on your character. Every so often, head to the tower and cash in any Engrams you get. Rinse and repeat. Someone in my clan played 70 matches the first day of the season. He was at 1010 (without artifact) when he started, and ended at 1040 (also without artifact).

Eh, umbral engrams actually have a very high droprate from doing just about anything in the game. They are by far one of the easiest ways to get seasonal items. However you're better off not focusing on them and just getting them passively by playing the game.

You ain't gotta grind it, they drop from everything. Can get 1060 in a week or less if you just casually play lol. I afk when I can't play otherwise I get drop like nothing when I play normally

Um, no you can’t casually playing. I work and play about 3-4 hours a day. My highest char is only 1040. You need double that time and good luck.

You can get 1060 in 24 hrs of game time. Just doing 3 hrs a day (which is what I do on weekdays cuz of work as well) you can get it in a week if you know the right routes to go. I afk this myself cuz I work too, I'm not saying don't do it lol

I do know the paths. Been playing since the very beginning so not my first time doing this. I've put in 24 hours easily this week and that is not enough time to do every single drop and grind all the bounties for artifact leveling. Not to mention that you need some RNG. My alt got great drops. My main, energy weapon, energy weapon, energy weapon. Comparing myself with my clan mate the only difference is a) TIME and b) some of them afk'd forges. And again RNG. Disclaimer of I do not have the time, or more accurately have chosen not to take the time because then Destiny is literally all I do, to do 3 characters and that is a huge hit I know. But i've focused on 2 characters as I can generally get 90% of the things in the game done on 2. It is too much of a slog and makes the game feel like a second job to 100% all three for me.

Not me... and I am not a grinder. Never been, at the end of last season I grinded as much as I ever have. No way I would level this character if not for this exploit.

Allot of people was already at last seasons pinnacle power i skipped last season but that's just me.
