People are doing it because they’re tired of grinding 50 light levels every 3 months.

You can see that the entire next year an additional 50 (+10 pinnacle) power levels will be the norm each season due to the max. power of the gear we have now. Once I saw that I just laughed because it only made my decision easier not to return in September. I was already getting kinda burnt out on the game, and this is the final nail. I'm pretty sure at this point they'll never learn.

Do you have zero reading comprehension? I said that I would not return in SEPTEMBER, tomorrow is a day in mid-June buddy. I paid for this season and will enjoy all my cool gear and the massive amount of content there is for a bit longer, but then not retun to run in the same hamster-wheel in fall.

There is a massive amount of end-game content that I really enjoy playing and I enjoy using the guns I have grinded for. I'll play my favorite Raids and all the Dungeons a few more times, do some tough Nightfalls and maybe even some Crucible, and then I'm done. It's not like I don't enjoy playing the game, but I hate the grind I constantly have to go through, which is why I'll stop after this season.

Uh-huh. If you like the game that much, you'll be back. As tedious as the grind is now, it will never be as tedious as Forsaken's was. And if that didn't drive you away for good, nothing will.

Forsaken was new and exciting and had all the changes people wanted the game to have for an entire year. It was literally several studios working on an expansion the size the game has never seen. Forsaken would've been tedious if I had been playing Forsaken-style content for 2 years already, but that's where we're at NOW. The same Strikes, Crucible, Gambit, Flashpoints 4x a year to rank up 50 power. I wasn't tired when Forsaken launched, but I am now. And look, you can obnoxiously tell me how I will play the game because I'll put up with the garbage that Bungie pulls constantly now... but I simply won't. But we both know you won't care enough to actually check my profile because you don't actually care.
