Hey -blam!-nuts, here's an idea:
If you're going to so much goddamn effort to NOT play the game, how about you do everyone else a solid and -blam!-ING UNINSTALL THE GAME AND ACTUALLY STOP PLAYING THE GAME.
Seriously, it's not rocket science. Just don't play the game if you DON'T WANT TO PLAY THE GAME.

Have you ever considered that we have done the power level grind with the same activities so many times already, that it's incredibly boring, repetitive, and unrewarding? Active players already have to wait months at power cap waiting on new content, having people wait several weeks to get to high enough light to be able to access this content is not the game play that most of us enjoy. You're like those people that complain about players in strikes not killing every single mob on the way when they're just after the reward at the end of the strike. After doing the same strike several dozen times, it's not enjoyable to have them take more time than necessary.
-
Then STOP PLAYING if you're not having fun, how -blam!-ing hard is that to understand?
-
I have fun, when I reach the end game activities. For example the new dungeon was pretty fun to do today now that I'm high enough light to do it. Alternatively I would've had to wait weeks to be high enough to do it without getting absolutely wrecked. You seem to be so upset that people don't want to play the game that you play it, that you think that is the only way to do it, and anyone that disagrees shouldn't be playing. Maybe you should get off your high horse and let people enjoy things the way they want to, when it has absolutely no effect on your gameplay.

Edited by Teejaeche: 6/14/2020 11:06:29 PMYou "enjoying playing your way" is having a negative effect on people who are trying to get something done. I'm trying to get forge clears for Le Monarque and instead you toxic assholes are AFKing in forges and making it impossible to complete the quest. Bungie isn't responsible for that; you -blam!-wits are and should be permabanned because of it. So guess what? F U C K YOH AND F U C K YOUR DUNGEON.
-
No, the way I afk in forges will never have any actual player matchmake with me. So no, I am not having any negative effect on other players. So go get mad somewhere else.
-
I do want to play the game. Most of those people do too. I just have other stuff to do too and I'm tired of not being able to optimize my experience without sinking a bunch of time into the game without seeing real progress.
-
Well you and all these other assholes are ruining forges for the people who have quests to do, so -blam!- you.
-
the only assholes here are the people who dont even make the effort to lower their power level below 750 before doing something like this.
-
I'm not ruining forges for anyone when I don't ever get matched with anyone. If you're trying to legitimately do forges, you will never be matched with me while I'm afk farming them. Now the players that don't alter their items to prevent matchmaking are definitely an issue.
-
Well, thank you for at least making an effort to be considerate.
-
You seem to be misunderstanding me from the start. I hate afk players as much as the next guy, I've matchmade way too many players in gambit and strike playlist using macros to prevent themselves from getting kicked. The only reason I'm defending this farming is because there are ways to not affect other players.
-
I sink my power level way below the threshold to avoid that. But I'm sorry if that's your experience. You could just do it too if you can't seem to find people who want to play the forge. Or if you want I could join you in playing the forges as well. I don't mind at all.
