That locks out those that don’t have regular groups they play with. That wouldn’t be problem if Bungie hadn’t confirmed that it is only available for this season and next season will be removed from the game for an unspecified amount of time. People are doing this because they want to fully experience and enjoy the best content the season has to offer before it’s gone in 9 weeks, and this is unfortunately the most efficient way to get to do that.
