The resource drop rate you need to focus the engrams is abysmal unless you run bounties on all 3 characters, twisted energy is non-existent to "extend" the grind, and the umbral Engram drop rng is iffy at best.
The community has spoken up to Bungie on dozens of occasions that this type of economy is Garbo, yet they keep doing it.
Plus the afk forge farm (any farm that don't offer guaranteed drops in general) isn't even that good unless your RNG is on point.

Edited by WoofinAintEazy: 6/15/2020 6:56:49 AMDo adept Nightmare Hunts. Usually either get altered element or an umbral engram. Out of my 20+ runs this week, only a couple did not drop anything. Takes about 4 minutes to speed run them. Very efficient if you aren’t trying to afk forge farm.

you can delete your character that isn’t of use to redo the twisted energy bounties. the thing that sucks, is that it’s bugged after rank 18. at least in my situation i can’t rank past 18 bc it won’t let me turn in the twisted energy or pick up my engram
