I disagree. This community is mostly lemmings that follow whatever strat/idea is posted to youtube.
I remember when people more than capable of beating the VoG raid would still do the exploits to beat the Templar simply because they could.
This has nothing to do with the game design and proving a point, it's just people exploiting a bug because they can.

Never said anything about proving a point. And I never said people wouldn't still do it. I said people would be less inclined. The developers make the game. Not us. We only play and critique it. If there are holes in the game, we didn't put them there, the developers did. And if the rest of the game seems tedious and tiresome, we didn't make it that way, the developers did. Especially now considering there is no Activision. These factors will only encourage players to exploit the holes they find to get to the good stuff. If the whole game waa good stuff we wouldn't want to skip any of it. We wouldn't be *inclined* to skip it. We would be *encouraged* *excited* *ecstatic* to experience every second of it. But as it stands we are not.
