I'm not going to make this post to be argumentative, but I will say that it does not take very long to level up in this game (If you ACTUALLY do the powerful challenges). I went from 1002 at the start of this week and I'm now at 1045ish. It took me only a single week to get to this point and yes I play a fair amount of hours every day I can, but if I can do it in a week, then it shouldn't take anyone else longer than 2 or 3. Now you might think that 3 weeks to get to level is a long time but the season is what, 13 weeks long? That gives you 10 whole weeks of being at or near max level (that's a lot of time to do dungeons and high-level NF's if that's what you're trying for). Also, what are you considering endgame? Because none of the raids or dungeons, (with the exception of the new one this season) are high level, and it's not even max. No, I'm not a no lifer (technically). I'm back to working full time these last couple of weeks and I still managed to get in enough time to level up efficiently, and I have to ask, what games do you play that get you to endgame level on the first day after playing a single questline? Because I've never seen one. All games make you play the same content over and over, this realization really helped me with easing my frustration in this game. In CoD you play thousands of matches that are basically the same. Siege is no different. DIvision, Anthem, Fallout, Assasins Creed... all of these games have you doing the same stuff over and over, and only recently is this something that players are upset about. In other MMO games, it is no different. ESO had me running back and forth doing basically the same quests but for different people, WoW is similar. It is just a grindy genre and I think too many players are forgetting that.

  • Borderlands 3, Monster Hunter World, Final Fantasy 14. 3 games that put you at or near endgame at the end of their respective campaigns.

  • ...are their campaigns part of a new seasonal story that takes 1 hour to complete?

  • My point is just that we are only 7 or 100+ days into the season. We have SO much time to level up and more story missions/content will drop every week or every couple of weeks. There's no need to rush unless you're trying to compete with the hardcore community for bragging rights. I think more players need to just enjoy the game that they play and do the things they wanna do. I have a buddy that LOVES gambit and does that over other power leveling modes because he'd rather take 3 weeks to level up than not have fun. Me? I like to level up fast and do a bit of everything. To me, that's actually more fun. So I wont be saying this to fight you or make you feel bad, I genuinely want to encourage you to find the part of the game that you love and focus on that. You'll get to max level in no time when you do what's fun

  • In theory you are right, but the problem is ,I think, is in doing the things that are fun. We are grinding the same stuff for a very long time now, then the hole fun part loses its appeal . And to get to the new and fresh fun part you have to do them. My take on what I read a lot on this forum is that a lot of players are done with the repetitive hamsterwheel, bounty simulator,to get to what they want to play. Not that unlogical when you look at it objectively. Cheers.
