Will there be Raid loot drop protection for disappearing raids?
I’ve been trying my hardest to get the hunter chest piece and shotgun for The Crown of Sorrow to complete the collection for “Shadow” and the Chronicon lore - the thing is I’ve done the raid 15 times and they have never dropped for me. The more ridiculous thing is, in both runs I did of CoS yesterday I got Tarrabah, one on my Hunter and another on my Titan (I also got another Anarchy from a SoTP run on the same day) so now I have a total of 3 Tarrabah’s before the chest piece and shotgun have dropped for me. Surely you can see the absurdity of the matter, the chest piece and shotgun are more rare for me than the exotic drop for the raid.
I think now is the time to impliment a feature into the raids that are disappearing - come September - that offers drop protection on gear and weapons... so people like me can fill out their collection before we loose the chance.
Furthermore, I’d personally like to maybe see a feature in future raids that allows us to pick the items we want from the raid chest from a limited pool. E.g every raid encounter chest would generate a small pool of available loot and the player then picks the item they want.
