I'm very upset that the Duty Bound (Savathun's Song) never got justice... Taeko-3 sacrifice was forgotten along with this awesome gun, I think if we had the chance to get random rolls on it, it would be a beastly AUTO RIFLE, it has potential, unique sound, and esthetic. Now that we getting close to SAVATHUNS STORYLINE, it would be beneficial to have a gun that has some meaning to the story, I think its a good opportunity!, If you want, make it as a Quest, Exotic, or Grandmaster Nightfall drops, but just update it so we can put Mods on it and be light level 1390 or Beyond at least! Please help me out guys and get this thread up!!!
Update: The DutyBound is Back next season hahahahahahha Haters gonna hate on this post!

Idk how it never got justice? Past 2 seasons I was recking people with it. It has zen moment and no recoil to being with it’s a legit sniper
-
Been playing since Destiny 2 RELEASE and still have never gotten it to drop, I use to farm for hours and still try to this day.
-
Same should be said for all of the nightfall exclusive weapons. Several of them still have static rolls ffs.
-
good Auto but still tied to the old Perk & Mod system, maybe all these Strike Exclusive gear should be Updated so people actually have a reason to grind them
-
R.I.P. Taeko I love the voice acting in that strike.
-
upgrade the exclusive collectors and deluxe legendary sword from the original d2 each year or don't upgrade anything.
-
Again, stop with the novels in the post title!!!! Stop typing in CAPS! Unreal

Well with a bunch of strikes heading to the DCV, I wouldn’t get your hopes up.
-
Oh great another 600 rpm to taint the crucible
-
Super upset

Lol it's be3n years and I still don't have it xD That's the only nightfall exclusive gear drop I don't have. My friend dropped 2 in a row a couple of days ago, my bad luck protection sucks so bad, hahaha
-
I just got the curated roll. It's really good with zen moment.
-
Upvote. It is ( was ) my main Auto.

Here's my idea: Lower level ordeal completions don't change. A chance at getting the "vanilla" version at the original power cap. Higher the difficulty, you get an increased chance of it dropping, but it also gains a chance to drop masterworked. At grandmaster, it's a guaranteed drop on first completion. It's a high power cap, curated roll that's fully masterworked and has mod slots. Every completion after that has a chance to drop a random roll.

Edited by ScrubLord199901: 6/21/2020 4:27:22 PMAll nightfall exclusive weapons need an upgrade to the new season and new mod system. I'd make dfa my main for a while.

Imagine a curated roll with multi-kill clip and rampage. I mean, the gun is going to sunset at the end of the season anyways, and it won't be obtainable anymore. A hunt for that gun would be the definition of "You had to be there".
-
Taeko-3 went down there with a firearm of 9....9. She's worthless let her memory die with the gun lol.
-
It's ok, not gonna happen just cause you request it, then bungie is fielding requests from everyone to make their favorite weapon exempt from sunsetting. So sorry, but you're gonna have to find a new auto next season
-
Naaaaa, that's the logical thing to do, we are going to just make you farm the static role for 2 more years and then rebrand it for year 7 and sunset it afterwards
-
Same with silicon neuroma, bray tech offspray, and dfa.
-
I agree. Bungie please either move strike specific loot forward before you get rid of half the strikes and for those of us who grinned for them please let us just get them.
-
The fact that all strike exclusive weapons haven’t been brought up or spared from sunsetting is yet another reason to believe Bungie couldn’t care less about player time. If there isn’t a new crop of nightfall exclusive weapons to replace the old ones, 1) I won’t be surprised, and 2) it just shows how little Bungie cares about this game.
