*Editing because I came across different than I meant to, and have seen other points of view*
I don't wish to shame anyone, rather I personally feel that with all things there should be an avenue of help for those who cannot afford as much. AND I feel that there should be help. Period.
I don't agree with insulting players for being 'bad'. Let me tell you why: A 57 year old gentlemen stepped into my stream and said: "I spent 6 hours doing puzzles, and when we got to the boss, I was kicked after 2 tries and lost everything." That guy got his divinity the same day with me. I hated what happened to him and made it a goal to make up what someone else did to him. He now is one of the best floor builders and high dps players i know, he also acquired his 1k and anarchy over on our stream, it was an awesome moment! Determination to be a better player is all that matters (usually). Those ending cheers after we've all finished a raid as a team, those things are part of what make gaming so great to me. I miss the gaming community being about those kind of moments.
I was helped for my first GoS clear by a stacked group who so kindly took me in and taught me the extras i didnt know about, the things that make it 10x easier. They didn't place me in the middle and say 'kill ads'; they gave me positions, detailed information on certain mechanics, and explained. Now i do the same, with over 120 clears and 90 sherpas in garden. They helped me advance when I was 6 months late to the game.
If any of you are struggling, and need a community, as well as a helping hand, we're here for you, and that's a promise. Come by the stream and say hello! I'm looking to find players who are down in spirits. Let's get you raiding!
- For the experienced players, I also teach speed strategies, skips and more -
A special thanks to these players who helped me become a better player.

Good for you man. It’s nice to see someone helping the community without charging outrageous prices. We need more people like you out there in the game.

A fool and his money are soon parted.
-
A fool and their money, I suppose.
-
Something should be done about people charging for services in the game. This is screwing over the other players. I don't see how this is any different than the AFK farming and that was patched.

Edited by Tru-Zrue: 6/23/2020 1:23:57 AMEdit: I'll be a cool store and apologize to Op. If you're genuinely helping people out, you're amazing. The twitch thing just trigger me....ALOT. We've seen a lot of twitch pluggers on the forums lying to get viewers over the years. If you're not one of those clowns, thank you.
Plugged his/her twitch three times 😂. I see what you're doing here.
Edit: I'll help for actual FREE. No twitch plug, no subscription, like, anything. Don't need it....
just buy silver, that's it.
Edited by Yosemite Sam: 6/23/2020 12:24:55 AMI like that people like to help others out and that is a great way to make destiny friends and hopefully, they will give what was so freely given to them the same in return. But, I don't like advertisements, it's not like this game doesn't have enough of it when it comes to streamers. Personally, I believe streamers have done more harm than actually any good when it comes to this game. Now don't get me wrong, I'm not saying "all streamers are bad", that's just foolish, but people that are generally genuine that just want to help don't advertise, but that's just my opinion.

You'd be shocked to hear about Recov streamers for PvP pretty much colluding with cheaters/ cheating themselves

Edited by Fate: 6/22/2020 11:31:21 PMPeople are always going to take advantage of the foolish to make quick easy money That’s why phishing, scams and hacking are a thing Some people like to make easy money with little effort because they lack morals and see a opportunity with high payoff That’s sadly just how this world works unfortunately There’s always people like this they see a get rich quick scheme and run with it

It’s always nice to see something so sweet and positive during these times :)

Bungie just needs to sell weapons and armor that are obtainable for free in game at Eververse. That move alone would kill any 3rd party source asking for large sums of money for a completion or item. Having Bungie directly offering it as a purchasable option, provided that it's long past season probably a year or so, for you or you can earn it in game for free gives them the necessary funds to make content and deters people from pulling the game into a for profit system. Ain't no money in saving the world, so you might as well take back control of your game and make a profit on it rather than allowing people to profit in it. You can even lower the cost of emotes and junk so that buying them is more approachable. Virtual content has no limit or stock, so more small sales = more likely to buy something else in the future.

I already got what i just want to say props to you,you also got another follower recently

Prob just another sex pest.

280$ for a Divinity?? I got mine 2 nights ago. The number of clears each person had were --- 1,1,2,2,3, 27ish. Skill isn't the main issue, it's raw common sense/sentience.

It still baffles me that people pay for stuff in the game. I've helped a solid bunch of people with things like Whisper, Outbreak (especially when it was the hot stuff of the town), as well as regularly joining raid groups and doing my best to guide them through. I routinely have open lobbies for Pit of Hersey as well. I don't know why people place such a high price on items. It's just dumb. I did regular, triple grenade launcher heroic Zero Hour runs. But, as long as people are desperate, people will do anything and pay anything for something they think they need.

Tell them to call me so we can file with the SEC to go public and launch and IPO. Profitability looks amazing!
