Someone got charged $400.00 for a normal whisper, So..
*Editing because I came across different than I meant to, and have seen other points of view*
I don't wish to shame anyone, rather I personally feel that with all things there should be an avenue of help for those who cannot afford as much. AND I feel that there should be help. Period.
I don't agree with insulting players for being 'bad'. Let me tell you why: A 57 year old gentlemen stepped into my stream and said: "I spent 6 hours doing puzzles, and when we got to the boss, I was kicked after 2 tries and lost everything." That guy got his divinity the same day with me. I hated what happened to him and made it a goal to make up what someone else did to him. He now is one of the best floor builders and high dps players i know, he also acquired his 1k and anarchy over on our stream, it was an awesome moment! Determination to be a better player is all that matters (usually). Those ending cheers after we've all finished a raid as a team, those things are part of what make gaming so great to me. I miss the gaming community being about those kind of moments.
I was helped for my first GoS clear by a stacked group who so kindly took me in and taught me the extras i didnt know about, the things that make it 10x easier. They didn't place me in the middle and say 'kill ads'; they gave me positions, detailed information on certain mechanics, and explained. Now i do the same, with over 120 clears and 90 sherpas in garden. They helped me advance when I was 6 months late to the game.
If any of you are struggling, and need a community, as well as a helping hand, we're here for you, and that's a promise. Come by the stream and say hello! I'm looking to find players who are down in spirits. Let's get you raiding!

Idk why people pay for anything. Lazy I guess. Good for you doing things to help. That’s what a good player should do. Being amazing at the game and just being toxic is what ruins it for everyone else. Having great players help you out when you need it most is what makes a community great.

I dont understand why it's so hard to find a group to help you for free. I'm on xbox and you can just make a lfg for anything and people will come storming in. All nice people too.

I literally just did whisper with 2 friends who haven’t gotten it last night after the second time with their first time being a blind run for fun. Second run was also fun but it was taken a bit more serious. Quick easy, less than an hour. I busted out some old weapons like Polaris lance for solar shield, used dark drinker 2.0+OD combo for bosses. Maybe [b]MAYBE[/b] it could’ve been cost like $10 simply for time and effort [i]before[/i] the level cap increase but $400 is absurd.

Ive wanted to do comp and trials but ive not had reliable team mates, i also want my prestige raids and catalysts from them and my blacksmith title, like im pretty accomplished i have 108k triumph score and 10 seals, but some of the more team things i just havent been able to get done, id like to find help but lfg has not been kind, im on xbox, also i want to learn more about streaming, if youd inbox me? Im autistic so social stuff has been rough but i wanna learn. -

Yeah, some people are really desperate for guns they can't obtain easily. I don't think Bungie should sell guns, it's so much more fun to gain skill and earn the stuff the old fashioned way. I'm pretty sure this is a thing for players in Korea. They don't mind paying to win there. For free, Ive helped out 20+ get to fabled back in the day when it was hard to help people earn Luna's or recluse. Helped numerous people earn outbreak and whisper, or do strikes for thorn or other exotics. For me it's pretty rewarding to help others, it's almost like earning bit all over again.

Thats awesome dude. People are looking to make a buck on everything and its just gross. Then again i assume someone spending 400 on a ingame exotic probably has more money then they know what to do with and a fool and his money are easily parted. Anyways good on you for helping people.
