and what would be the problem? Doing this doesnt hurt any player because you're getting exactly what you want, unlike loot boxes. This also leaves room to retire content regularly but still be obtainable. Where are the Raid exotics going to go when past Raid get vaulted? Enough time would've passed for everything to have it's time to be sought after. When the new yearly content comes, the focus should be on that content. Exotic should, and will eventually, be sunset as well. So having the option of just outright paying to experience the weapon in regular activities, not Pinnacle, is just good for everyone, the game and Bungie gets funded for their next DLC or secret mission.
