Taken barrier doesn't do much when taken mobs spam Solar AoE. The damage reduction that Eso seems to get is not what I experience.
I spent hours today trying to do the first boss on Prophecy solo and no matter what, I kept getting insta-killed when jumping up to dunk the motes, either that or solar AoE spam even having cleared most adds.
I got as far as the DPS phase on the boss and the boss stomped me to death in one huge hit or knocked me down into the ravine from other side of arena. not being funny but it seems like certain people have "reduced aggro"
When I solo stuff I get aggro'd from everything no matter the distance and I get AoE bombarded even when in cover. This is wearing Taken Barrier, Concussive dampener, Solar resist and Major resist.

Edited by PinguinFTW: 6/23/2020 2:24:12 AMIt's a bit strat. That wave always has 3 knights and like 10 psions. Just make sure to kill 1 knight and the psions quick with mountaintop or whatever to give urself some breathing space. Then go collect the motes u want and go stand behind the walls where u have to dunk. Jump on the wall and approach the dunk tablets from behind, it will probably save u a bit more.
