After living in Portland, especially on MLK BLVD, seeing first hand 2 floors below me what real world issues exist from marches on my street, I truly appreciate that you guys are outspoken and not staying silent in any way.
Thank you for fundraisers.
Thank you for standing by minorities.
Thank you for everything behind the scenes.
For the uneducated: All lives in America shouldn't matter until Black Lives Matter first. Black lives have never mattered, and it's a privilege people of color decide stand for change instead of revenge.
LGBTQIA+ matters.
The way you speak to people today matters.
The way you come on this thread and bash me for being the one woke human praising the company I've spent time with, just shows your ignorance.
Be nicer people.
Also to educate you:
"all lives matter" shows ignorance. Do your homework on what BLM means, before you cry on forums assuming "black lives matter more than others"
For the uneducated: All lives don't matter until Black Lives Matter.
Uneducation isn't the issue. The educated people know that Eastern European and Middle Eastern young girls are being bought and sold, forced into slavery and s*ex work, some being 7 or 8 years old and being beaten, abused, tortured, and even killed and nothing is being done about it. Then there's the human trafficking in Asia, as well as how there is regular genocide happening in the far East with the controlling of populations and executing them in mass graves if they are not part of the 'approved religion'. Then there are the Jewish, the longest suffering demographic of people who have been suffering from antisemitism for thousands of years, and tens of millions have died through slavery and/or war with Christian and Islamic states trying to control them, with no real improvement in their situation throughout the ages. Only in the last 60 years or so have things gotten a lot better for them, but they still face war in the Iareal/Palestine situation and we all know how that is going. There is more to list, but this is a snapshot of the bigger picture for closed minded people like you who only care about yourself and how things affect you. The reason why educated people say "all lives matter" is because there is far more going on in the world than the police unlawfully killing a black man. Granted, there are uneducated people out there who are just fed up of hearing about it or are just racist. The problem is, you're automatically branded as 'uneducated' or 'ignorant' if you don't automatically bow down to one cause, and for supporting other causes and bigger issues at play across the globe. There are humanitarian issues far larger than just Black Lives Matter and that's why educated people say 'all lives matter'. So get off your high horse and actually support everyone who needs it, not just your own selected demographic. This sentiment applies to all races, creeds, religions and all people, not just this particular issue. Don't be a d*ck to each other. People are going to hate what I've said here, but I don't care. I'm not a racist, I'm not a bigot. Even though I will be called one. So make of it what you will. This entire thread will be removed for political discussion. Just a heads up.
