The intrinsically built perk on the exotic solar fusion rifle Merciless, Conserve Momentum where each successive and continuous non-lethal spray of bolts decreases the charge time, seems to not be working even after emptying all but one shot in the magazine into an enemy without killing him seeing no charge time decrease. I have loosely tested this with it never working in the Tribute Hall and Gambit Prime, while occasionally experiencing a decrease in charge time when hitting a phalanxes shield and getting immune damage while in patrol. I was not able to successfully replicate the phalanx occurrence but consistently get no increase while dealing normal damage. May I also add that I do not own nor have the catalyst completed nor have any way to test it with the catalyst. Hope this is helpful and as detailed as possible. Edit: I have received the Catalyst and can confirm that its completion does not change the results. Upon further testing however, it seems to work 100% of the time when getting any form of "immune" damage decreasing charge time and will stay at that charge time until a kill is achieved or the magazine is reloaded. Further damaging but non lethal shots still do not activate the perk even after activating it once or twice using a Phalanx's "immune" shield in tribute hall.
