This may have been brought up before but last weekend and early this week I noticed that this issues happened more than once for me on Xbox. I thought I was a bit crazy at first but here are the details.
Intermittently during PVP play, I would engage my hunter's Gambler's dodge. Rather than going 3rd person view and my character rolling out of the line of fire, the camera stayed in 1st-person view, and my character did this weird sideways "slide". I wasn't able to fire until the "slide" finished. And it wasn't the typical slide. It was a slow motion kind of thing happening, where I couldn't fire or move in any other direction until it stopped.
At first I thought I didn't have the dodge class ability available. But after it happened several times, I hypothesized that the gambler's dodge was in fact "working," but the animation wasn't happening. I'm bringing it up to see if anyone else has noticed it.
This seems to be an issue because the gambler's dodge (for me) is utilized because it changes the hit box location. It seems like because the animation didn't happen, the hit box didn't change and I got shot in the head anyway.
To be honest, the controls this season have felt wonky from the start. The toggle sprint threw me off for a bit, which has been corrected. But movement in general (at least for me, a causal Xbox player), has just seemed... off. And the gambler's dodge issue has been the latest in that area.
Anyone else have this trouble?
