How is removing content a positive?

Pinnacle weapons, armor sets, raid gear, build setups, and many more fruits of hours and hours of labor rendered useless almost every new DLC. Now even underutilized planets are in line for the chopping block. How is this still a mainstay for Destiny? How are people not tired of this constantly happening? Maybe I’m not familiar with major MMO’s that do this often, but their are plenty of examples like the Komodo that never even got their chance to shine with the short amount of time they were useful. This just seems like once again we are going backwards while calling it progress in my opinion...

  • You make sense. However, content cycling is considered healthy in many looter shooters and MMOs. To me at least, content vaulting seems temporary, so people can have time to get more storage, like putting something in a storage unit before moving.
