Hey Bungie, According to update 2.8.0 back in March, the methods to acquire the Catalyst for the MIDA Multi-Tool were updated to the following: -Obtaining the MIDA Catalyst is no longer impeded by playing with Clanmates. Drop rates were adjusted and now properly scale with the Clan "Catalyst Seeker" Perk bonus. -Added drop chance for wins at Glory Rank 3 Fabled (5% without Clan bonus, 10% with Clan bonus) Increased drop chance for wins at Glory Rank 4 Mythic (5% > 10% without Clan bonus, 10% > 30% with Clan bonus) -Now guaranteed drop for any win at Glory Rank 5 Legend. However, after 26 wins at fabled, it still has not dropped for me. I understand that 5% is not guarantee after any number of wins, but the odds of it *not* dropping after 26 wins are only 27%. My stronger evidence is that I have not found an anecdote of ONE person who has gotten it to drop from a win at Fabled. There is no record of this ever happening, from anyone online in any relevant thread on the issue. Enough people have said they have gotten it at Mythic for me to believe the 10% drop chance there is accurate. But if there really was 1/20 chance of getting it from a win at Fabled, surely someone would have responded that they have gotten it to do so. I have read people online who have approached 100 wins at fabled without receiving it. A lot of people, like myself, lose too often to ever reach Mythic. It is my firm believe that there is some kind of bug and that the 5% drop chance at Fabled was not implemented properly or is being negated. Perhaps it was coded as .5%, or even .05%. If anyone has gotten it at Fabled (not Mythic), please say so. I would be happy to see evidence contradicting my hypothesis. Bungie, can you please double check the coding on this one to make sure the drop chance really is the 5% that it is supposed to be? I feel like something is probably wrong. Thanks, Blu Soldier
