Seems like there is an issue with the hunters speed. I cannot move as fast even with a light weapon, 100 mobility, stompees and a speed boosting subclass but on a titan i just put on a dunemarchers and i'm golden. And when you take into account that how fast you move in destiny 2 is mostly determined not by how fast you sprint but by how fast you fly through the air, then hunter is just too slow.
Another issue is the hunters dodging speed for the gamblers dodge ability. How many times have you've seen a dangerous situation, dodge to get out of the way and died because of the slow animation of the dodge. This is a problem since the purpose of this ability is to get out of sticky situations.

Edited by BraddyBo: 8/26/2020 10:57:32 PMAll classes have identical sprint speed, mobility only affects strafe/walk speed and max jump height. Dunemarchers, stompees and transversive steps all grant 10% increased sprint. I might be wrong about the % boost but they are all equal boosts. Regarding dodge, i think all class abilities should have their cooldowns reworked. Maybe just a static 20-25 seconds for all of them without the possibility to decrease it.

Gamblers dodge has the best animation and isn’t too slow. As a dodge, it does a great job of dodging things. Doesn’t make you immortal, you can still die in it. Titan and warlock jumps just have better horizontal speed, so you’re not going to be out running them.

You can most definitely move fast as a hunter. All you have to do is time your jumps. Dodge speed is fine.
