Do semi-serious pvpers need to buy a Cronus Zen / ZiM (or similar setup) since many high end comp/trials players are using one? Anti-recoil, rapid fire, extra aim assist. Currently, Bungie isn't doing much about it. I hate cheating, but a standing advantage over other people that is being ignored by the developers is a problem. It is in the Code of Conduct/License Agreement. I don't want to stop playing, and I don't see an alternative. Either they start getting banned, or Bungie needs to give the "all clear" to everyone else.
These products are widespread and even backordered on their website. It is open cheating with limited response by Bungie. Reporting these one-by-one is a terrible approach to any sort of solution.
Easy ways to spot this is by looking up a player's history. They maintain an average K/D ratio and headshot/sniper accuracy rating for an extended duration, usually years. Then their K/D ratio doubles and their headshot/sniper accuracy spikes nearly overnight. You can't go from average player to top player that quickly.

you can't just ban players by looking at their kd ratio, i had a number of extremely bad matchmade games last night and spiked my kd. but i agree, anti cheat has been the biggest gripe of this community for a while now- this is basic shiz we shouldn't have to ask for
